Every civilization is developed near the bank of the river. Among the ancient development of civilization, Bishnumati River civilization is one of them, that is the civilization of Kantipur. Kantipur is later known as Kathmandu. In the ancient era Kantipur Civilization is expanded from Pashupati to Swoyambhu which is known as ‘Devpatan ‘. Tamsipakha lies on the route to Pashupati to Swoyambhu. So Tamsipakha has the ancient and cultural value too.
Tamsipakha lies in the bank of holy Bishnumati River. This place is one of the entry point to the inner core of Kathmandu city. Here is many monuments, statues of different gods & goddess, Chaitya & Stupa of Lord Buddha and Lokeswor. So this place synchronized the value of Buddhism & Hinduism. Beside different iconography & monuments here is the special path for Buddha from where only Buddha can travel so that other deity are not allowed to travel from Tamsipakha. This road can’t be crossed even by funeral rally too. Due to these strong reason this area is known as Buddha Path too. The path to Nirvana.
Being the inner core part of Kathmandu, Tamsipakha area is not developed as much as other major part of Kathmandu. The economy part of this area is not developed as well as cultural part is also suffering due to various reasons.
So to recover the gap of development and promote the value of this area’s culture, iconography, legends & myths to the whole world. Tamsipakha Youth Club is established with strong vision. Tamsipakha Youth Club is concentrated on culture, myth, legends, iconography as well as development of human resources too.
As we all know that the whole world is suffering from Corona virus/ Covid-19. This is the period of lockdown and there is scarcity of food and medicines. To recover the scarcity of food is very difficult but fulfilling the scarcity of medicines is very challenging and complex work.
We know that many people are suffering from similar health problems like Blood pressure, Asthma, Diabetes, Uric acid and many more. People have to take medicines regularly. During the lockdown period, people may not take medicine due to lack of money and preference given to hunger. Medicine can be bought at expensive price from the pharmacy .There may be scarcity of medicines as well.
So, Tamsipakha Youth Club team has enunciated to fulfill the needs and scarcity of medicine in cheaper price as well as providing grants for really poor and absolute needy patients.
We need all the information as well as prescription of doctor so that we can manage the medicine. We will buy the required medicines at wholesale price and take grants and donations from government and public. So that we can manage and deliver the medicines at home. This initiation will be very fruitful during lockdown period.
We are also trying to provide the scarcity of blood during emergency. We take all the required data from the inhabitant of our area, Kathmandu Metropolitan city, Ward – 18, so that the blood can be donated easily and fulfill the scarcity of blood.
This is our first attempt to provide the medical services to needy patient of this KMC-18 inhabitant. After the satisfactory result from this initiation to fulfill blood and medicine to our area, we will aim to serve other areas of the country too.
